A New Meeting Platform

Recently our Adobe connect subscription expired on us without being informed that we had to find another platform for our meetings and conventions.  Other Bible Student groups have started using the Zoom platform, which is free and can be found at Zoom.  To join us one needs to click on the link and download the file and install the program and go through the few hoops of opening a free account with Zoom.  Then open up the program and click on the “join a meeting” button and put in the following meeting ID number a little bit before the meeting starts, 571-038-844.  Do not be discouraged if you don’t get right into the meeting, I might not have opened up the meeting yet, so give it a little time.  When I do open the meeting you will be brought right on in.

The meeting times haven’t changed from what is on our Class Schedule page.  We will update that page to reflect the change shortly.

Thanks to all for your patience with our challenges.
And the Lord bless all!

Announcement

Yesterday our account with Adobe Connect was suspended.  This happened because of a miscommunication.  So we couldn't meet today.  We are looking at an alternative platform so that we can continue our meeting and fellowship.  So keep checking with us for another announcement with information on how to join us.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

SWOBS Memorial Studies

Today we are pleased to announce the beginning of our Memorial Studies for 2019!  This is a tradition among the Bibles Students, the tradition of focusing on the study of themes or information regarding Jesus' last days on earth, or the significance behind his sacrifice for our sins on on the Passover of 33 ad.  Our class has chosen this year to study the passages where Jesus instituted the Memorial Supper in the Bible and Paul's explanation of this annual event Christians are commanded to observe on the annual anniversary of it's observance by Jesus and his Apostles.

Anyone is welcome to join us in our studies as we start with the passage in Matthew chapter 26 today.   We will discuss:
  • The background of the passage.
  • What Jesus told his disciples.
  • Verse 28.
  • And any other question or thoughts which may occur to the participants & visitors.
So bring your Bibles and be ready!

3. What alliances have yet to be formed between now and Armageddon? (e.g., Ezekiel 38)
4. Are the image of the beast and the false prophet of Revelation related? And if so, How?
5. What do Revelation’s 7 last plagues show us that the Exodus 7 last plagues do not?
